If you request a refund or size exchange within the statutory 7 days (for online purchases) we will refund (less shipping) or exchange (one size exchange per transaction at no additional shipping charge) any shoes returned in the condition they left our premises, in the original box, unworn, uncreased, unmodified, undamaged, unmarked, and entirely fit for resale as new. You must first request a confirmation e-mail from us authorising the return. We reserve the right to ask your reason for the return. You must pay to post the shoes back to us. You should send them insured for the full value to cover yourself against accidental loss or damage. Until they arrive back at our premises and we have made our decision on the refund or exchange based on the condition of the returned goods, they remain your property, and we cannot accept responsibility for them while they are in transit. If they show any sign of having been used, modified or damaged while in your possession, or in transit, we reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange, in which case you will receive the shoes back again, and a bill for our postage costs in returning them to you.

We are the designers and sole stockists of RoSa Shoes. We are not an intermediary in a factory-direct operation. You will know immediately and reliably whether your choice is available, and it will be sent to you promptly as soon as your transaction is verified. If a particular size or style goes out of stock, the item will be (temporarily) removed from the online shop product pages until the next delivery from our shoemakers in Italy. If you would like to confirm anticipated restocking date, please phone or e-mail us.

Customers are expected to read and heed the advice on the care leaflet supplied with the shoes. Any thin-heeled shoes with long, fine-pointed toes will need routine maintenance if worn frequently. Although our heels are exceptionally strong, thin stiletto heels are not advisable for any wearer with higher than average female body weight as they concentrate the wearer's weight on to a very small area. Our shoes and boots are designed, manufactured and sold specifically as women's high fashion shoes. Materials and construction methods used are appropriate for smart, occasional wear by women accustomed to walking in this type of footwear. The shoes are intended for well-paved, predominantly indoor conditions, e.g. shopping malls, offices, airport terminals, clubs, bars, parties, dance halls, restaurants, etc. Any reference on this website or in any of our literature or publicity material to the quality of our products refers to their aesthetic value, not to their ruggedness in adverse or inappropriate conditions. The standard plastic heel tips are intended primarily to protect indoor floors. Our shoes can be fitted at reasonable cost by your local repairer with metal heel tips, heavier-duty toe reinforcement and/or lightweight stick-on soles for improved outdoor wear.

We accept no responsibility, beyond advising caution, for any accidental damage occurring to the shoes, or to you, or caused by you to anyone or anything, while you are wearing our shoes. High, stiletto-heeled  shoes with extended pointed toes are never intended as practical footwear, and must be worn carefully. Any decision taken as to how, where, or when you wear them is a matter for your own judgement and common sense.

Older “Roger and Sarah Adams” label shoes from years gone by seen in photographs on our Memory Lane history page are no longer available. We do not offer a custom-made service or cater for individual requests.

No part of this website may be reproduced or copied in any form or for any purpose without permission. All RoSa Shoes - commissioned designs, and all logos, text and images pertaining to current stock items are the property of Roger and Sarah Adams, trading as RoSa Shoes.

All prices quoted and all transactions are in UK Pounds, and include VAT at the standard UK rate. We do not quote prices in other currencies as these depend on exchange rates at the time of purchase. The rate of exchange is determined by your bank or card-issuing company at the time of the transaction. However, an approximate rate can be found at the MSN currency converter.

During the checkout procedure, you will be transferred to the 128-bit-encrypted Protx VSP Server. This ensures your details are treated confidentially and safely.  Your card details are not stored or viewed by RoSa Shoes, we are simply informed by Protx  whether or not the transaction has been successful.

NOTE: the card-issuing companies are introducing a system known as "3D Secure", which is the online equivalent of the chip-and-pin system, involving a security code for online card use. "Verified by Visa" and "MasterCard SecureCode" are part of this system, which enables extra verification of customer ID during online transactions.  All customers wishing to continue using their credit or debit cards online should register them with their banks as soon as possible.

We dispatch orders ONLY to the verified account-holder's address. There is no option to change the delivery address in our shopping cart.  Please ensure your address details are correctly written.

UK CUSTOMERS ONLY: If you choose to pay with a cheque drawn on a UK bank, simply send details of your order, together with your cheque made payable to RoSa Shoes, in UK Pounds Sterling,  to us at the address on the Contact page.  You are strongly advised to check with us first on availability. The shoes will be reserved for a maximum of  three working days pending receipt of your payment, and posted to you once your payment has been verified and cleared by the bank.

Customers who wish to have shoes delivered to an alternative address, are invited to pay by direct bank transfer. Please contact us by e-mail (using the message box on the "Contact Us" page of the website) for the necessary details to perform the transfer.  You will need to accept all bank charges when making the transfer.

Pre-order Option:  If demand for a particular style proves to be exceptionally high, we may, at our own discretion, enable pre-ordering of out-of-stock sizes.  We will only do this once production of new stock has been commissioned and an estimated delivery date agreed with our shoemakers.  Customers selecting this option will at the time of pre-order be charged in full at the current price, thus protecting themselves against any subsequent increase in price of the product ordered.  A full refund, including shipping,  may be requested at any time unless the order has already been sent from our premises, in which case our usual Terms apply - see above.
